Compliance is a release requirement, not a badge.

The national inventory and records beta supports all 50 states. Regulated features remain under development. A source link, successful website check, license number entered by a customer, or enabled checkbox does not establish legal compliance.

National ordering, tax automation and other regulated workflows remain disabled. Source collection covers all 50 states, but state-specific legal applicability, implementation and release testing are not complete. Availability of the separate Maine edition is not a legal certification.

Requirements that must be reviewed

Required scope for an operational release

The review must identify the actual business role, product type, license class, licensed premises, local jurisdiction, counterparties, sales channel and transaction date. Interstate activity needs both origin and destination review. Unknown or unsupported combinations must remain unavailable.

Federal permits, dealer registration, records, trade practices, labels, advertising, excise and import requirements are reviewed where applicable. State and local licenses, taxes, deposits, sale restrictions, age controls, reporting and distribution rules must be mapped separately.

Platform privacy, security, subscription terms, cancellation, subscription taxes and email/SMS permissions require separate review. A documented not-applicable decision needs the same source support as an applicable requirement.

What source monitoring means

Automated checks detect changes or access failures on selected pages. They do not establish that a law changed, approve its interpretation, inspect every linked document, or validate a business. Sources marked for manual review are not automatically checked.

Reviews need precise citations, named reviewers, business scope, reasoning, source versions and review-expiry dates. Unresolved federal or state source changes prevent a cited review from counting as current. Resolving an alert does not enable transactions.

Production activation also requires working, tested customer workflows. Qualified alcohol-regulatory counsel and tax review are needed for launch decisions. These controls are operational safeguards, not government approval or a guarantee that all laws have been satisfied.
